i have face recognition installed in my laptop. i know the serial number. Is it possible to track it?

I lost my dell laptop which I bought recently. I think its still under warranty

Unless you had something like "Lojack for Laptops" (http://www.lojack.com/Laptops) installed and operating BEFORE the loss, there is no practical means to trace the system. Report the loss to the police and your insurance company (if applicable).
