Hi,

Do refer to this thread since you may be referring to the same problem that the other person had. One of the laptop experts suggested that this may be a hardware problem your HDD to be exact. Do try the troubleshooting steps suggested in this thread that may work. But if all the troubleshooting steps will not work that means it's the HDD that needs a replacement.
