I have Polaroid flat screen 41 inch black screen, just sound, what's causing the issue, can it be resolved?

I have Polaroid 41 inch flat screen , it goes black with just the sound only, what is the cause of this happening can this be resolved?

They sell replacement boards and are very helpful.
If you took it to a repair shop it's possible that the cost of fixing it would exceed the cost of replacing it.
