Why don't you give Vivaldi a try?

I changed to Opera when the backspace key stopped working as "previous page" in Chrome. Then to Vivaldi because of a lot more features. They both use Chrome's engine, and extentions.

Of course Vivaldi has tab grouping/stacking.
