I just got Sennheiser hd 598s today. The purpose of getting hd 598s is ONLY using for FPS games such as Fortnite, CS:GO, etc.
I tried it out today but barely hear enemies footsteps. And Sound is quite low.

What should I get to improve the sound?
I did some research some people said FiiO E10K, E17k, GSX 1000, ASUS Xonar DGX or Creative Sound Blaster Z.

Please help me out I really have no idea what to do or what to get.

Heyo jazzg0dz

I'd say you should go for the Fiio e10k. I've used it beforehand myself and it works quite well for the price. It does what an amp and DAC should do, but in one package.
I'd say go for an external DAC.. and well an amp. I'm not a huge fan on internal sound cards.

Cheers

Nah I've used an Asus Xonar STX for years. It's very comparable to a Schiit stack or O2/ODAC. I actually like it better than my O2/ODAC for my HD 650s.

Get the Asus DGX. Creative drivers are terrible and the Asus software includes Dolby headphone which is quite good at simulating surround for gaming. The GSX 1000 is also worth considering but I haven't used it.

I got SoundBlaster Z last week and been using it ever since with my Hd 598 sr and DT 990 pro. I love it, but looking for a better Sound Card or DAC/AMP.
Any recommends ?

For internal sound cards whatever the flagship Creative card is ( I hate their drivers ) or the Asus Xonar Essence STX II.

Since gaming is your only concern I wouldn't even look at external solutions except the GSX 1000 as I mentioned before. Honestly the Soundblaster Z is probably driving your current headphones pretty well as far as gaming goes.
