I guess I'm looking for 2 desk speakers with good sound quality, if that's even possible. I would like to to have surround but that would probably be too pricey for me.

For a budget, I don't know. In your opinion, what is a good price limit to put on something like this? I don't want to overpay but I also don't want to buy cheap speakers that have bad quality.
