I need guidance on fixing my hard drive

Plain and simple;
1. Screen broke so I replaced it.
2. Hard drive failed.
3. I have an extra laptop with working hard drive

Q1. Can I use that hard drive for my current laptop
Q2. How can I use this or install it?

The laptops would have to be twins to get away with it but you could buy a converter box into which the disk you want to slave to the working laptop via a USB cable.
