Hi there, Im just looking to buy something to last me a while that I can use when Im not on my PC, I would also like it for school work.

1. What is your budget?

Up to about $700 max

2. What is the size of the notebook that you are considering?

Doesnt matter but no smaller than like 14in

3. What screen resolution do you want?

1280x768 It doesnt really matter though

4. Do you need a portable or desktop replacement laptop?

No

5. How much battery life do you need?

6+ Hours would be nice

6. Do you want to play games with your laptop? If so then please list the games that you want to with the settings that you want for these games. (Low,Medium or High)?

Yes
Garry's Mod- Medium-High
WoW- Low-Medium
Minecraft- High(Doesnt really matter)
Dota 2- Medium-High
Basically I would like to run MMORPG's at Low-Medium and all other games Low-High
As long as I can see what I am doing it doesnt matter to much

7. What other tasks do you want to do with your laptop? (Photo/Video editing, Etc.)

Skype, internet, programming, schoolwork, Word and Powerpoint, daily tasks

8. How much storage (Hard Drive capacity) do you need?

300-500GB

I'd like to keep it for at least 4, until I get out of high school

I wouldnt really like to buy Dell because I have had bad experiences with them.

I just need something that will work for school and gaming when I cant be on my PC.
Oh and a backlit keyboard would be great and a numpad.

You can get better asus one instead of spending on a lenovo for the same price,look for asus versatile series and choose one for your needs,look for i7 4200u and nvidia gt 720m..i'm sure you'll get it within your budget

i7 u series and a 720M will never outperform the Lenovo's i7 Q series processor and 755M. Later, the Lenovo's performance can be upgraded by buying a second graphics card to go in the disc drive slot, something the ASUS laptops just cannot do.
