I need help to understand How ohm works, and what shoud i do in this situation.

Hi so i wanna buy a headphones with called Beyer Dynamic DT 990 Premium 600 OHM, and i was wondering is this 600 ohm is make a difference between the work-ability of my audio in my PC. or i dont know how to explain this i am a nooby in this theme,
my MOBO: Asus Maximus VIII Hero, is this has the audio to use the headphone i want, sorry for my English its probably not perfect

You probably want an audio website rather than a PC focused one like this.

However, to put it briefly, Ohm's are a measurement of electrical resistance. Speakers an headphones have an amount of resistance (also called load) that they present to an amplifier's output. That output will typically specify a minimum load requirement. It's *generally* ok to present a higher ohm load to an amplifier (say, 600 ohm headphones in an amplifier that needs s 400 ohm load).

600ohm headphones will require a headphone amplifier. Some higher end motherboards have one integrated but you'd need to be sure.

It depends on the individual headphones but you generally need headphones rated under 80ohm to get sufficient volume on integrated audio.

It has a pretty good DAC and an integrated amp. It will most likely handle the 600ohm DT 990s.
