I put in a new cpu and now my laptop wont boot up properly

I installed a new cpu into my compaq presario cq60 and when it turns on it dosent fully load and just shuts down. I have tried this with the battery out but it still dosent work any help would me great

Put your old CPU back and see it your system will boot.
