I've spent the last year switching between Apple Maps and Google Maps, but a recent update to the latter brings Waze's best feature to Google Maps. That's why it's become my favorite navigation app while driving.

I’m not sure what antiquated version of Apple Maps you are using, but the version I use gives me alerts for police traps, questions me if I’d like to save XX minutes by taking an alternative route, and delays ahead. Given this, I’m not convinced to give up Apple Maps for Google.
