I turn my computer on but it is just stuck on the screen saver

I turn my laptop on and it is just stuck on the screen saver. No sign on screen. Nothing works

If it is a screen saver, then it wasn't turned off. Perhaps hibernate or sleep?

You need to turn it completely off, no power, and then back on. Should load normally then.
