i turned on my toshiba laptop satellite n it just shows hibernating. what do i do? please help me

I HAVE A L305D satellite series laptop. I turned it on n screen is showing hibernating for the past hour now. I did not put it on hibernating when it was shuttibg down. My laptop was working perfectly. what is going on? Help! mlhpr23.

Try unplugging the laptop, removing the battery for like 10 seconds, putting it back in, and turning the laptop back on.

This will reset the computer, so if you were working on anything it might not save your work.
