I would suggest getting a proper setup. At least a 7.2 audio/video surround system. Denon, Yamaha, Sony, and others. Some good tower speakers. Your movies will sound awesome.

I'll never buy a Bose soundbar again. Bought a I think 500 or 700 with back speakers and a subwuffer. Didn't really use it, after 2 or 3 years I wanted to use it. Found that the psu was toasted.
I'll never buy Bose again.
Have a very good Sony HT-ST5000. It works.
