I used AI to imagine humanity in 50,000 years — here’s how it went

Fascinating article Ryan.

I'm going to paste your prompts into Fooocus when I get home, and try different Checkpoints to see what different results I get.

January 16, 2025 - I really like "flights of fancy" like this article. One of my ways of freeing my mind while waiting to fall asleep. Is to try and imagine what mankind will be like in the future, and what kind of creatures exist on various planets in the universe. Of course, part of "creating" creatures means departing as much as possible from the creatures that we are familiar with on Earth. That brings into question so many things involving the environments that would impact how creatures are designed. It's a very mentally challenging project, because of the amazing variety of lifeforms on Earth. In regards to Mr. Morrison's project. I believe that many of the humanoids featured in classic Sci-Fi series like Star Trek, and to some extent Star Wars. Kind of assumes that humans had colonized far reaching colonies, which eventually caused changes in the basic human physiology. However, I have to wonder if future humans will be so affected by the environments that they inhabit. Will they be so impacted by the environment? Will they not build bases and cities that protect them from said environments? Missions on the International Space Station has shown that there are changes in the bodies of the astronauts that spend extended amounts of time in space. I certainly believe that within a few generations of habitation on Mars and the Moon. Will affect human organs and other parts of the body. It is quite possible that people born on Mars after a number of generations. Would find it almost impossible to live on Earth. As far as the AI generated images are concerned. I think that we are looking at the beginning of an art that will produce astounding entertainment productions. Featuring environments and beings/creatures that will make previous films like the original and ground breaking Jurassic Park. Seem as old fashion as Silent Movies are to us today.
