May I ask why you want a laptop? Do you want to sacrifice extra money and performance just so you can move it around everywhere?
I personally started on a laptop, it wasn't specifically purpose-built for gaming however it had an i5 in it and cost the same as my current rig. I really regret this purchase of the laptop first because a proper rig is so much quicker and powerful, and you can change the components so easily, usually are also cheaper than a 'gaming' laptop.
If you really need/want to get a gaming laptop, I can't reccomend any to you but make sure you do a lot of research and compare the specs of the laptops, also probably a good idea to look at reviews of them before making a purchase
// Edit: I know the most common 'gaming' laptop manufactourers are MSI, Alienware, ASUS and Nvidia I'm fairly certain to a small laptop type machine, but are like I said, quite expensive.
