“In the marketplace, for example, a laptop with an OLED display using high-white content like typical webpage browsing, Microsoft Office work, and more, will typically have a six-to-seven-hour battery life whereas a traditional LCD display will have a 10-to-11-hour battery life. There Is your answer. Everyone knows OLED on a laptop absolutely demolishes battery. For a gaming laptop or one always plugged in, but apple MacBooks/macbook pro always have best in class battery. If they suddenly released a OLED laptop with 6 hour battery, consumers would be complaining about how their 3 year old laptop has better battery life than their new one. Apple as always, will have OLED in laptops when the technology is ready from and does not kill battery.
