i want to record myself on a laptop without buying a facecam

i have a new You tube channel and i want to buy games and record using a face cam on a laptop but i look and its always windows or micro soft i need some help i want a face cam that's a free download and its on a laptop

A face-cam is a piece of hardware. You can't download hardware. You can, however, download software that deals/interacts with said hardware. Is this what you mean?
