I have a chance to buy a work laptop, but since I have a budget and some specs I have to meet (mainly, that it has 3 years warranty from the maker and also that it is bought from specific vendors), my choice is not a wide one.

Currently, I am between Asus N56JR or N550JK. Where I'm from, the n56jr is only available with i5 4200h and the n550jk is with i5 4200u (and also has 2gb ddr3 for the gpu).
Which one would be better for games?

(Also, how difficult would it be to dismantle the n56jr?)

Thanks:)

I would say go with the laptop that has the GTX 760m DDR5 RAM.

If the GTX 850m had DDR5 RAM, then the choice would be clear. However, DDR3 imposes a performance penalty. From the few comparisons of the same GPU with DDR3 vs DDR5 the performance penalty is about 25% - 30%.

If you wish. It's a free country... or at least that's what the propaganda machine keeps telling me.

The only downside is probably a little less battery life since the i5-4200h is not an ultra low voltage CPU.

I also have the option of a HP EliteBook 850 with i5 4200U. That would definitely have the battery life, but would it bring joy to my life?
Would the Asus at least last 3h on min settings? I see using my laptop mainly as an occasionally portable desktop. My current one is 3.3 and it's no trouble carrying it around in a backpack, so 2.7 seems like a win for me:D
