i5 6th Gen or 7th Gen or wait for 8th Gen ?

Hi, I want to buy a new laptop but is not rushing for it. I'm going to use it for general browsing, excel, and streaming.

The spec is all the same except for the processor.

Should I buy 6th Gen or 7th Gen? Or should I wait for 8th Gen to come out late 2017 ?

9th gen would be out on 2018, then 10th.
Just buy it went you need it.

i think i seen something saying intel is coming out with 8th gen coffeelake CPU's in august

Your needs do not seem very demanding. Either a 6th or 7th gen Intel CPU will do fine. The biggest difference between the two are slightly better battery life with 7th gen and the Intel HD 620 graphics core in the 7th gen CPUs are capable of 4k video playback.

It is rumored that 8th gen Cannonlake CPUs will not be released until next year because of problems with the 10nm manufacturing process.
