I7-3610qm vs i7-3630qm

Hello,

I would like opinions between these two laptops and a desktop:

I ordered from Office Depot and they were delivered on 12/13/14 and 12/14/12 (got really great deals on them- Brand New and Factory Sealed)

Toshiba Qosmio X875-Q7380 (i7-3630qm)- (I paid including CA Sales Tax of 8.75%)= $973.35

ASUS G75VW-DS71 (i7-3610qm)- (I paid including CA Sales Tax of 8.75%)= $1057.47)

I also received an HP ENVY Phoenix H9-1350 (i7-3770) Desktop from OD as well- that I paid including CA Sales Tax of 8.75%)- $810.18

Can't decide which one to keep! The other one(s) I will return for refund or resell.

The processor is not the difference you should be focusing on. What the primary component difference is, that you should focus on, is the display.

The Toshiba Qosmio X875-Q7380 is not a good choice, because it comes with a 17.3" 1600x900 display. 17.3" 1600x900 displays make things onscreen rather large, and tend to be low-grade LCD panels with poor image quality due to low contrast.

The ASUS G75VW-DS71 comes with a great 17.3" 1920x1080 display. Good resolution and also good contrast.

As for the desktop: I can't recommend this as an alternative to either of the two laptops. From what I can gather about it, its GPU is a Radeon 7670 which is actually a fair bit slower than the mobile GTX 670M included in the laptops.
