I have narrowed down my laptop search to two laptops, I will be doing occasional gaming such as diablo, rome total war, maybe splinter cell ect.

$679.00
HP Pavilion G6-2235TX (C9M83PA) i7 3632QM @ 2.2 Ghz, 4GB RAM, 500GB, 15.6" LED, AMD 7670M 1GB, Windows 8 with AMD Radeon HD 7670M (1 GB GDDR3 dedicated)

and

$659.00
HP Pavilion g6-2324tx (D5F86PA) i5-3230M (2.6 GHz, 3 MB L3 cache), 4GB RAM, 500GB, 15.6" LED, AMD 7670M 2GB, Win 8 with AMD Radeon HD 7670M (2 GB GDDR3 dedicated)

Which one is the better choice, :)

but isn't the quad core faster @ 2.6 Ghz, will the dual core is slightly slower @ 2.2Ghz, I dont really know alot about processors. so apology for the stupid question hahaha. what makes the quad core better, other then have an extra 2 cores?

Also does the Dedicated graphics make a difference?

Both have dedicated graphics and that is what what you want when playing games.
Quad core is better because most games are taking advantage of quad cores CPUs and that is what you want in a laptop for playing games.
Not only for laptops, but for desktop as well, for gaming get at least a quad core.

so it doesnt make much of a difference that the i5 has 2 gig dedicated while the i7 has 1 gig dedicated, also the i7 is much faster even though it has a lower ghz??? :)

thanks
