It is interesting to see Microsoft develop an open source tool. Then again, this is not the first time they have done that, and probably not the last.
 
So wait... what does this mean? Is a Tracking Protection List a list of the things that track, or a list of users who opt-in? Is the TPL basically like a blacklist for AdBlock then? What's the difference between the tracking thing and just running NoScript with Firefox?
 
Sounds like this could be a good move by M$. Maybe (though doubtfully) this will make me switch from Chrome. I'd like some more information about how this is going to work though.
