If a pc is vr-ready, does that mean it can run any games i feed it?

Solution
They can run the bare minimum of VR, but what VR games they used in that measure? That we don't know.
For example, DOTA 2 supports VR, and a PC that run DOTA smoothly doesn't mean it will run Battlefield 1 smoothly too.

Much better to look at the PC specs: CPU, GPU, RAM, etc. That way we can say for sure what it can or can't play.

Better watch out in the near future when buying pcs... Seems the label "vr ready" is a new way for marketers to sell their stuff. Even if it can only run one game on the lowest settings.

With the reduction in system requirements for certain VR HMDs, I would be weary about just trusting a "VR Ready" machine to run everything.

If it has a CPU to run VR, and atleast 480 (AMD) or 1060/970 (Nvidia) then yes, it can run anything, just maybe not at Ultra.
