I'm having a phone exchanged, but I have to send the damaged one in first so how do I save my photos

Need help preserving my pics. I'm getting a new phone but I must send the old one in first. How do I keep from losing my photos.

Fone make and model and number?

Essentially you can use a usb charging cable to your PC / Laptop and copy over the photos.
