I dont see the power cord for the table. Is that induction also. JK. Could you imagine tripping over the cord. Or not being able to move your chair because of it? Cool concept, but I think that is where it will stay.

that would only happen if your arm had something metallic on it, or your arm happened to be metallic...

you wont burn your self....induction only heats up magnetic metals, so unless you place your arm directly where a pot or pan as heat from the pot might have migrated to the table.

now credit cards, metal utensils etc....could get quite hot
