A 4k gaming laptop will cost you upwards of $3500.

This is the 4k Y50: http://www.microsoftstore.com/store/msca/en_CA/pdp/Lenovo-Y50-4K-Ultra-HD-Signature-Edition-Gaming-Laptop/productID.305527200?tduid=4b2e5e8c64fcb3b79d25b09bc0f5bf88

But it has no gaming potential at 4k. Like at all

You could get this one: http://www.amazon.com/Lenovo-15-6-Inch-Laptop-59425943-Black/dp/B00K6ZIMFY

And then just turn the res to 1080p when you game.

I wouldn't suggest this because it would be a little less crisp than a native 1080p screen. Also, 4k on a 15 inch screen is stupid. They only sell 4k monitors in 27"+ sizes for a reason :pt1cable:

The heating issue people are facing with the poor after sales, Y50 is a waste of money. Enlisting some better options in that price range.

HP Envy 15-k006tx
ASUS X550JK

Edit - if you could stretch the budget by 100 bucks , MSI GE70 2PE Apache Pro is also a decent option.
