A
Best way is to connect all your external sources to the receiver. Connect the receiver HDMI output to the TV HDMI-ARC input That way the same HDMI cable that send video to the TV will also work in the reverse direction sending audio from the TV tuner & apps to the receiver.
You will have to configure the TV and receiver correctly. The manuals should help you there.
