How do i adjust my laptop graphics card to a higher setting for gaming.I have a toshiba satellite L505- ES5018 laptop.It is a 15.6 inch skreen.It has an intel graphics media accelerator 4500M with 128MB-1341MB.The specs says (dynamically allocated shared graphics memory).What does this mean?.I am using the bethseda gaming softwares of Oblivion and Morrowind.

this means that the gpu doesnt have its own dedicated memory, it has to use system ram for its frame buffer.

now, i think you can adjust it in the bios, but this might not help at all. most games wont run under an intel accelerated chip, and even if they do and you increase the ram allotted, you would have to make sure the chip will actually use it.

how much ram do you have? cause increasing the gpu ram takes away from the system, and this could cause stability issues if you are near to using all the availible ram in your laptop.

At this point i did manage to adjust the quality settings,virtical synchronizer on,enable software processing,and 2x anisatrofic filltering.just 2 hrs ago something kicked into place even though it was'nt 100%perfect but i got at least 90 something % out of it after trying so many times.I have already updated my intel graphics card a few days ago.It uses Intel familly 64 familly 23.I tried to use comon sense,but their were more than a few options to choose which intel graphics to update.
