IP address after reinstalling Windows 7

I reinstalled Windows 7 on my Acer Aspire laptop, used the driver disc that came with the installation disc & now my laptop won't connect to our Hughes Net due to "wireless netwoork connection" doesn't have a valid IP connection. How can I fix this?
