Question IP ban strait away ???

Hi , I just registered on toms hardware forum and in the mather of 5min. got the massage "your IP address has been banned " ... I didn't post or comment on a single thread yet , and now I can't even log out from the account , and can't read the forum threads either .
Can someone please help ?

update , now the message states "You have been banned for the following reason: Rules violations"
