[citation][nom]sparky2010[/nom]iphone 4gS like the 3gS... probably be something like that... if it's a completely new phone, apple's just gotta die, cause it's really annoying to go buy a ridiculously expensive phone, then a few months later a newer. better one comes out for the same price....[/citation]

A brand new 16GB iPhone is 199$ with a contract right? So is every other top-end smart phone.

Atleast Apple sticks to one a year, unlike the slew of Android phones out these days..

I'm trying to figure out why Apple would need 2048x1536 when their video library tops out at 720p...IF it is true, maybe they want it to be a Kindle killer.

[citation][nom]Your Mama[/nom]Oh jeeeeeeeeeeeeez all you apple hating trolls get a LIFE!. Apple sells, if you got a problem with that go tell it to your mama! Dumb fools. I have been waiting for the Ipad 2, rather than buying the first version. I don't give a fuck if it "doesn't do flash", it's going in my car to play music, surfing and as a satnav, oh and it looks freaking sweet. So to the apple moaner hater fools you can go blow me hahahaah! Later losers![/citation]

Well, aren't you unique. /sarcasm

It's people like you, who so blindly sell out to Apple that are the problem with the tech world. You get things because 'it looks freaking sweet' and you don't care that it doesn't do flash probably because Steve Jobs told you not to care. In doing so, you promote this closed source, innovation stifled company who solely dictate what goes in their products rather than letting the user and consumer base decide. You also give no credit or merit to the other tablets due to come out, which takes the last of any semblance of weight out of your words.

You truly are a credit to the human species. /sarcasm

For the love of Christ, give it a rest with the hate.

Countless Android handsets are released week after week, yet Apple release a new handset every year and never hear the last of it from people like you guys.

I'm not Apple's biggest fan either, but just find a product that works for you and stop being such childish douche bags to the people who choose differently. Without competition and alternatives, the tech industry would be a mighty boring place.

Hahah, that's pretty funny.

You take the quote of one ignorant Apple fan and immediately assume that most Apple fans are represented by that one person. Stereotype much?

No credit to other tablets? What about all the Apple haters lilke you who never give credit to Apple for things their products do well? You are exactly the same as an Apple fan. Only difference is you automatically exclude Apple products instead of buying them.

It seems you also forget that nobody HAS to buy an iPad. It may lack Flash support, but millions of people out there didn't seem to let that bother them enough to keep from buying it. It's like complaining that Pepsi isn't as fizzy as it should be, they should change their formula to make it more fizzy. Guess what? There are other brands of cola out there, and if those other brands out there don't meet your expectation, then stop complaining about just the one brand. There are a number of Andriod tablets running 2.1 out that don't support flash, don't see you bashing them!

In the end, it comes down to Apple making THEIR product the way THEY want to make it. If you don't like it, stop complaining and make your own or find some other product that'll most likely still not meet your every expectation, but because it isn't Apple it is automatically better, right?

Nah that's not true. My Captivate can be gotten for $0.01 new. And if you care to look it up it runs right there with the iPhone and in some cases beats it. It also has 16Gb of internal storage but you can also add a 32GB sd card for up to 48Gb. So no not every high end phone costs $200 w/contract.

More people will discover that android offers the same apps as apple only for free...and the list continues to grow each day.
Besides Android already owns 25% or so market share of mobile platform...second to crap symbian from Nokia, who's smartphone exec says deploying Android is like peeing in your pants...fools the lot of em.

[citation][nom]hardcore_gamer[/nom]By the time it comes out, there will be 100s of Android tabs that can kick its a$$.And the'll cost less[/citation]
Sure they will. And when a customer walks into Best Buy and sees 100's of various Android tablets they've never heard of, how do they decide what to buy? When they start looking for accessories like car docks or cases and see next to nothing for those Android tablets and compare it to the entire aisle of exclusive iPad/iPod/iPhone accessories, what do you think they'll buy?

Sorry, Apple hater, but Apple is going to sell a gazillion iPad 2's. Nobody wants to spend their money on an unheard of and unproven product (Android tablet).

When the iPad first came out wasn't it an unheard of and unproven product?
