Can I use my iPad to find my galaxy 5?

Unless your phone had an app on it, or you had signed up for a service, to track the device, there would be no way for you, yourself, to find it. Unless of course it was in your home or car still.

You can try contacting your carrier/service provider, to see if they can help, but in most cases once lost/stolen they are gone.
