IPad as a home integration tool?

Lots of people have suggested using the iPad as a home integration tool or universal remote for TV, cable, stereo, and lighting. Do you think this is feasible? How many people would actually consider using this device?

I think that's a great idea. I use mine to control an AppleTV [using Apple's "Remote" app], and wish it could control the entire system. I know that there are a couple of home automation apps out there already, so it wouldn't seem that far fetched to get an iPad to control a Home Theatre system.
