[citation][nom]Igot1forya[/nom]Your mom should be arrested as many hackers help keep systems secure! I work in the financial sector and I appreciate the contributions hackers make to my industry. Crackers however are the ones you should point your anger towards.STOP SPREADING IGNORANCE, HACKERS ARE GOOD![/citation]

Hackers == good, and crackers == bad. I wish mainstream media would pick up on the distinction. I do not believe we will ever hear,

"Good Evening, and welcome to the nightly news. Crackers, today, have cracked into several government databases in order to steal state secrets."

Someone out there will be wondering why the news anchor is being so racists towards white people.

Hacking is not illegal and in this case, it is his own propety, all those companies involved in finding and detecting 0-day vulnerabilities would be in front of a beak.

I dont think Steve Jobs cares much about hacking. Im sure if they wanted to devote the resources to it they could reverse engineer the JailBrake code, patch the problem it exploits and fix the problem. The fact is it sells more iPads, which makes more money for Apple... Thats what Steve Jobs cares about.

It's not what Steveo cares about - he cares about CONTROL and a patch will go out disabling this jailbreak and it will end up with the same cycle that the iPhone has been going through. . .which is a stupid cycle, but one that teh Stever is determined to continue.
