That's actually not a bad idea. At least with Wal-Mart I could try it for 14 days then return it if I hate it; rather than paying a 15% restocking fee.
The price will be the exact same of course and the time will probably be the day after Thanksgiving( Black Friday) Walmart will probably offer a free carry case or something to make you feel like your getting a better deal.
I would like to see these on display and demonstrated for public use at a Wal-Mart.
I could imagine someone purposefully greasing up their fingers from eating chips or wings then touching the iPad's touchscreen. Youtube material right there.
I agree with those restocking fee's. I did not buy a iPad at Best Buy for just that restocking fee. I had concerns over the WIFI which was even weak using the store demo. I think Best Buy is ripping people off big time.
I am just waiting for 2022 when every computer sold around the globe will be "touch-something-enabled" and then (hope not) if apple still exists, they will introduce.... you guessed it: "keyboard and a magical pointing device" in both white and amazing black!
