Roughly how long have you had the phone because most times apple will replace if its in a year you dont even need a receipt just book a appointment in the genius bar because i had a similar problem and it had something to do with the phone crashing if its over a year old still try go there and have a talk if you push it enough i think they will fix it as i had my apple mac fixed twice over warrantly if you want a straight fix try to delete apps and turn down the brightness
