iPhone or android

I want to try the iPhone never had or used one. I've been using an android phone since cellphones been on the market. Should I be concerned about the difference, is there a big difference?

In Britain, the major difference is around eight hundred pounds and that's just to get out of the shop. I asusme an Apple phone won't be very compatible with a Windows or Linux computer.
