Is buying the apple mac pro 12 core 2013 worth it?

With max upgrades is gonna cost almost 9k total :O.
Does not at least come with a monitor a person has to buy it on his own.
No Optical Drive, people use OD all the time.
You can't change the HD if it goes bad, if the HD won't work no more how are you gonna fix the problem, the HD is flash meaning it's a big piece.

Allot of users have been buying it crazy lately is it worth the buy yay or nay?

Do you have 9k budget?
Do you need Mac OS X
Do you need the best single machine for your work?

If you can use windows and you don't need dual Xeon CPUs you can build a fast machine for less than 2000 instead
