Is core i3 with intel hd enough for running softwares like computational fluid d

I am planning to buy a laptop with core i3 @2.4 ghz , 2 gb ram , intel hd .. i would be using softwares like computational fluid dyanamics so is the configuation good for such operations .. also is 4 gb or 6 gb better for such operations ???????

More is always better if you can afford it. Personally, for any professional application I would use as much RAM as possible and at least an i5 processor.
