Hello everyone :)

is the Factory Reset safe in Android Smartphones ? I am talking about the Smartphones that have a version of 7.0 or newer ? Does the Factory Reset delete everything and with everything I mean the files of the security key that was used to encrypt the phone ?

Solution
Factory Reset means exactly what it says. Encryption software might be the exception because that would enable thieves to be able to sell a clean device so it's likely it would be protected from deletion.

I have used a factory reset on a Nougat device and all the files I'd created disappeared but they had not been encrypted. That said, it wouldn't allow any login details for Google other than my original e-mail address so they must be tying devices and accounts together for the future security of easily lost and stolen phones and tablets.

So if I make a factory reset it is safe because the data would be completely deleted and I could sell the phone without fearing that the person can recover my deleted data from the factory reset, right ? Or should I use this method http://www.ubergizmo.com/how-to/wipe-android-phone-tablet/ ? Thank you.
