Is it good to discharge and recharge a battery REGULARLY?

Hi everyone. I know that it's a good idea to discharge and recharge a battery completely every now and then, but I want to know if it's a good idea to do this regularly/every day.

Here's my situation: I use my laptop every day. I usually have the option of keeping it plugged in while I use it, or using it on battery. However, for the times I do want to use it on the go/in the car, I would like the battery to last for as long as possible. Should I keep it plugged in as much as I can, or should I let the battery drain every day and recharge overnight?

You should take out your battery sometimes if you're plugged in too much. Discharging it every day will make it worse than living plugged in
