Question Is it okay to use my laptop on my bed?

May be a silly question, but I get anxiety abt these things. I just got a new laptop (acer) and it has some vents on the bottom, it looks like. The manual says not to use it on a bed, but my bed is all I have to use it on. I want to play games on it from time to time tho I'll also just use it for discord and youtube most of the time. Is it fine to just use it on my blanket? I have bad anxiety with technology and I get scared abt very miniscule things so I'd appreciate advice on this!

don't see why not. where in the manual say that? don't put it on top of blanket. something solid

Lint will clog the vents quickly near bedding and cloths. Much like your cloths dryer. You’ll need to open the unit and vacuum the dust and lint often.
Otherwise. Enjoy your new machine.
