Is it possible to buy and use a larger battery capacity (Mah)?

Hi guys, I have a ASUS X550CC, and the battery is really bad... The battery dies after 1 hours.

I do know that the battery it came with has 2600mah. I have been looking around and found a battery for my laptop that has 4400 mAh... My question is.. IF I buy that battery, will it somehow damage my laptop?

I’d only buy genuine OEM batteries. My experience of 3rd party batteries is they are a waste of money, they either don’t work or die very quickly.

Yea i know, but i dont know where to buy OEM batteries.. Many websites claims that they are OEM but are fake... :/
