is it possible to make a raspbery pi like media center out of lap top parts

Just wondering the guts could be used to make a media center to run kodi only that is small like the pi.

Not small like the Pi but yes you could make a media center. The laptop mobo is about the size of the laptop though (ie much larger than Pi).
