Hello.

I have an ASUS K501LX-NB52 with Intel HD Graphics 5500 and also a GTX 950M. My question is, is it safe to update to newest drivers from GeForce Experience (GeForce Game Ready Driver)? Officially, mobile GPU drivers should be downloaded from the manufacturer's website, but what if I want the last version of drivers?

Solution
yes its safe.
manufacturers only supply whql versions of the drivers, so often the 1s on the website are months out of date.
better to get them direct from nvidia either through the GF experience or directly from there drivers section.

I'm asking because the last laptop I had, had an AMD GPU, and if I installed the driver from the official AMD website, I'd be getting constant BSODs and system crashes. I guess it's not the case with Nvidia mobile GPUs.
