iv been looking at this laptop for gaming on a budget does anyone know if this laptop is suitable for casualish gaming ? would it run gta 5 for example?

Unless you go overseas for extended periods of time, a desktop will get you twice the performance or more for the same money.

its a practicality thing I don't have anywhere to set up a desktop

Can you take a photo of the space you have to work with?

The laptop isn't bad, it isn't great either though.
Better can easily be had for the money in a desktop.

If you haven't looked into Mini-ITX PC's yet, try researching them and perhaps you could fit a PC after all.

If It's really not possible, yes there are decent enough options for gaming on laptops.

I'm not at home right now, I get so confused by pc specs.i know its cheeky but is there any small desktops you could recommend for about £500 to £600

I'm ok for monitors iv got ones I left at my parents house when I moved out. Ethernet isn't really an option for me,i doubt id be able to build one myself from the components id need a pre built machine

Take the first build to a local PC store and ask them to assemble it for you.
It might end up costing 50 quid more total, but it'll also perform twice as fast, not to mention the increased CPU clock speeds which'll make it even better.
