Is lenovo a good brand

Jus got this Lenovo laptop at best buy they said it IS a good brand but they'll say anything jus to make a sale so I was jus wondering if any one had feedback on this brand I would gratefully appreciate it thx.

It's considered a pretty good brand, renowned for their Thinkpads.

lenovo was a spin off by IBM when IBM got out of the PC market

my box said made in mexico from parts made in china [but most everybody does that now]

I think IBM is about as good as roots can get in a PC maker
but as with all majors quality can vary with price

The ThinkPad series is likely still one of the best quality built laptops around (not sure if it is at the same level prior to IBM selling it). Tech support for the Thinkpads is separate and distinct from Lenovo's consumer brand laptops; like the IdeaPad; and is likely one of the best tech support service you can get.

Lenovo's consumer oriented laptops seems to be above average for both build quality and tech support. But pales in comparison to their business oriented laptops.
