Hi all,
I recently read a Wirecutter article that recommends using Malwarebytes Premium for Mac instead of traditional antivirus software.
The article highlighted some drawbacks of traditional antivirus, such as the high access to system privileges and privacy concerns.
What I am unclear about is why these drawbacks and concerns don't apply to MalwareBytes Premium?
Is Malwarebytes less intrusive than traditional antivirus? And if so in what way?
Does it require as much system access, or is it a lighter programme which accesses and interferes with less of your core operating system?
Many thanks for any replies.
