If your going gaming is going be very heavy on GPU performance, but not on CPU then the MSI Computer Corp. GX60 1AC-021US is a good bet as it has a AMD 7970M GPU.

If you need more balance between CPU and GPU, then the Samsung Series 3 NP350V5C-T01US is a nice system, Intel Core i7-3630QM 2.4GHz CPU and Intel HD4000 / AMD 7730M GPU.

I had a laptop with Intel HD 4000, and gaming performance was terrible.

But I would go with what FlyingHelmet said, if you can spare the extra 100, go with this

You will find that gaming laptops tends to run hot. The CPU typically runs between 88c - 94c.

Graphic chips tends to be between 65c - 75c.

Thin laptops generally do not have great cooling because they have small heatsinks, they are also generally loud because of the fan.
